Gebresilasea Gendisha currently teaches at Hawassa College of Health Sciences in Ethiopia. Gebresilasea tells us, "My organization is involved in training midwives who will be with labouring mothers after completion of a three-year course. The number of midwives we will take this year [2009] is double that of previous years [in an attempt] to reach all health centers with midwives including the remotest parts of the country.
