Françoise Bardes and Françoise Souverville

Françoise Bardes was born in Paris, France. She was a midwife at La Protection Maternelle et Infantile (PMI) for three years, followed by 14 years at the University of Paris (institute Mutaliste Montsouris). She has gained a new kind of birth experience in the last year by attending homebirths.

Françoise SouvervilleFrançoise Souverville is a midwife with over thirty years experience. She studied originally with an OBGYN then on her own and through several midwifery correspondence courses. She became a certified childbirth educator with Informed Homebirth back in 1982, now known as A.L.A.C.E. I have returned to my "roots" in southern France near Toulouse and would like to have associations with other midwives. Françoise tells us, "Midwifery is my calling. I am an advocate of waterbirths and have been assisting them since 2000. I have five beautiful, healthy children, all homebirths, in America." Learn more about her here: www.puremidwifery.com
